We rarely see this issue, but it stems from the outside of the can getting wet. We use BPA NI aluminium cans because they are the most environmentally friendly option, but it does mean that the outside of the can could slightly corrode if it gets wet.
In this instance we believe the outside of the can has got wet on its journey and the delicious Dash Water has escaped from inside. To avoid this happening we are really careful to check for damages in our cans while they are at their storage location, we remove wet cans if a situation arises, and we ensure the all of the people we work with are careful with our cans while they are being transported and stored. We are sorry to see that this can has made its way to you and we are investigating the other stock to ensure no other cans have gone under our radar that might leak.
